Traditional Housewarming Gifts

Traditional Housewarming Gifts Idea

While purchasing Traditional Housewarming Gifts one should keep in mind a traditional housewarming poetry which provides detailed information on the contents of this kind of intimate gifts. A Traditional Housewarming Gifts must consist of:

"Bread - So you never go hungry.
Wine - So your life is always sweet.
Salt - So there is always spice in your life.
And a Candle - So you always have light" Traditional Housewarming Gifts are blessings in disguise from our fellow mates.

The custom of presenting gifts on the occasion of housewarming goes back to centuries. There are certain other primordial elements that form the part and parcel of the Traditional Housewarming Gifts, beside bread, wine, salt and candle. They are a broom to sweep the evil out of the house; honey representing the sweetness of life; olive oil to bring in health and light in the life; a plant that will ensure life; a coin to bring good fortune for that year and a wood to maintain stability, harmony and peace at home.

Traditional Housewarming Gifts can even range from lucky bamboo stalks, bonsai trees, wind chimes, cat's eye-a type of feng shui, charms and crystals and many more. In China, Traditional Housewarming Gifts comprise of the "golden rice bowls" and rectangular Chinese rosewood tray. "Cloisonné" is a famous traditional art piece, known as the "Blue of Jingtai" in China, with a history of over 500 years. This piece of art can also be a good Traditional Housewarming Gift.

Though I would not hesitate to appreciate the gift ideas that have been stated here, I would also like to state about the Photos to canvas ideas as gifts, there are so many ways with which gifts can be given but the one that has most value is when they are really appreciated by the recipients and the one I am talking about is certainly one of them, telling this from my personal experience.
